the future.

For the first time in a long time I think I’ve found a job that I want — really want — and for the first time I’m being BEYOND pro-active in ensuring that I can get that position (or one similar to it in the future, after I graduate).  

The future is kind of scary… the economy is still in shambles and the stark reality that I will have a nice chunk of student loans to pay off is daunting. I need to find a position that will help me pay off my loans and other pesky bills (who can forget about rent, car insurance, phone bills, credit card bills, etc etc), but still allow for a little play (I mean, a girl needs to shop ;)). I think I’ve found that job — let’s just hope that the job will still be around when I graduate. 

I really hope everything works out for me, however there’s always the X factor that you can’t account for, so who knows how everything will pan out… thank goodness I’ve also got backup plans. :)
